Temporary Staff make up a growing percentage of the local workforce and often add real value to our clients in busy or challenging times. Many of us at some point in our careers will have secured a temporary work placement - sometimes this can be during a break in our education, for others following redundancy or a career break and prior to deciding or committing to a permanent role and for others it is just a great opportunity to gain work experience. We have some fantastic stories at Park where securing a temporary position has literally changed career opportunities. Often zero hour contracts receive negative press and we appreciate that they can be abused however we have seen many positive experiences for a wide range of candidates and the suitability has been both for our clients and our candidates.
