Since joining Park in 2022 as a Recruitment Consultant, Vee has built a strong reputation for her market knowledge, exceptional candidate care, and trusted client relationships. Her ability to combine commercial insight with a people-first approach has seen her quickly become a valued advisor across the sector. Having started her career in industry within the real estate sector, Vee’s hands-on experience has been invaluable to her success in recruitment and her progression into leadership. We caught up with Veronica to ask her a few questions
What attracted you to join Park originally?
“I was drawn to Park for its forward-thinking approach and genuine passion for recruitment. The strong, bright, and unique branding made it feel different from anywhere else. I wanted to be part of a non-traditional, innovative business that isn’t afraid to take risks and make bold moves.”
What’s been key to your progression over the last three years?
“Being proactive and curious — asking questions, trying new approaches, and learning through trial and error. Taking opportunities, even when they pushed me outside my comfort zone, has been crucial, because that’s when you learn the most. Surround yourself with the right people and maintain a healthy balance between work and personal life — it really makes all the difference.”
What are you most excited about in your new Manager role?
“We spent 2025 laying the foundations for what we want to achieve this year, and I’m excited to see those projects flourish. I’m looking forward to helping Park continue to develop and adapt to Jersey’s fast-changing recruitment market, working closely with Toni and the team on our vision, and growing our team with people who share our passion for recruitment.”
How would you describe the team culture at Park?
“Fun, energetic, and close-knit — full of banter, laughter, and support, while always pushing each other to be our best.”
What advice would you give to someone looking to progress in recruitment? “Stay true to yourself and your values. Take the advice you give your candidates and apply it to your own career — set goals, ask questions, work hard, and don’t forget to have fun. And most importantly, enjoy the best part: helping people find their happy place 😍”
