Working at Park has made me realise that the workplace doesn’t need to be toxic for work to be done. Working alongside the whole team has not only been a pleasure but has allowed me to see how successful a business can be when we celebrate our winnings together. The whole team is so supportive and once you meet them you realise why they are the leaders of the recruitment market in Jersey.
Every single person here comes to work with a smile and ready to give it their all. Not only do they celebrate your winnings, but they help you with your struggles too. I was honoured when they offered me the opportunity to work with them for the summer holidays.
Before starting the job with Park I was skeptical, and it was then when I saw how bad all the previous toxic environments in my jobs before truly affected me. After working with Park for almost 4 months I see that a good manager/ boss doesn’t have to make their position known to the employee with the famous line “I am YOUR manager/ Boss”. They earn the employee’s respect with listening to suggestions, celebrating successes, sharing ideas with the team, being open and obviously COFFEE!! I went from not wanting to go to work everyday, to looking forward to waking up in the mornings and being early to show my dedication just like everyone else at Park Personnel.
Toni blessed me with the opportunity, and I had to deliver as I see how hard everyone here works. From meeting you for your registration, to thinking about you every time a job comes through to them. Park is truly with you every step of the way. After my studies I will definitely consider being a recruiter!
